The Multi Power range won the ‘Power Product of the Year’ category of the Excellence Awards 2022, an event co-hosted by the Electrical Review and Data Centre Review magazines and staged at the amazing Christ Church in Spitalfields, London on 19 May.
The annual event held to celebrate outstanding products and projects celebrates excellence, best practice, innovations, and technical developments across the electrical and data centre industries.
The Multi Power UPS overcame stiff competition from four other finalists thanks to its successful expansion with additional 15-25 kW power modules and a dedicated MPX compact cabinet.
An independent panel of judges praised Riello UPS’s modular ‘pay as you grow’ scalability, exceptional efficiency across all load levels, and high power density in a compact footprint.
This wasn’t Multi Power’s first awards victory, with the modular powerhouse having previously picked up the ‘Data Centre Efficiency Project of the Year’ at the 2017 DCS Awards.
Leo Craig, General Manager Riello UPS commented after the 2017 award:
“Sustainability and energy efficiency are hugely important to us. We were the first UPS manufacturer in Europe to measure products using eco-efficiency ratings, so we’re delighted to be rewarded for a project that produced such substantial emissions savings.”
