Using the latest double conversion online UPS technologies, the Sentinel Tower STW 6000 from Specialist Power Systems is the ideal UPS for protecting mission-critical industries such as finance, healthcare, and transportation. 

Available as a single-phase input and output, the STW 6000 delivers unity power factor and its input and output filters protect against mains disturbances and lightning strikes.
Designed to ensure maximum availability for IT networks, telecoms systems, security and emergency lighting, up to three UPS units can be paralleled together to offer redundancy and scalability. Multiple Sentinel Tower’s continue to work in parallel even if the connection cable is interrupted (Closed Loop system).
Manufactured with hard-wearing components designed to perform even at temperatures up to 40oC, the Sentinel Tower can achieve impressive operating efficiency of up to 95%.
Users can also choose from a range of operating modes, either pre-programmed or manually from the control panel:

• Online Mode: maximum load protection and output voltage quality
• Eco Mode: maximum efficiency up to 98% as the load is powered by the mains only
• Smart Active Mode: UPS automatically decides what mode to run depending on the stability of the incoming supply
• Standby Off Mode: for loads such as emergency lighting, which don’t need power until the mains supply fails
• Frequency Converter Mode: enables the output frequency to be different to the UPS input frequency (at 50 or 50 Hz)

Automatic and manual battery testing functionality is included as standard.
The Sentinel Tower is fitted with in-built wheels for ease of movement, plus a completely revamped large LCD display panel. Digitally controlled fans link speed to the actual load to minimise distracting noise. It is also equipped with RS232 and USB interfaces for easy integration with PowerShield3 communications software.
